How to get to the Engineering Risk Analysis Group at TUM
By public transport
From Munich Central station (Hauptbahnhof) take subway U2 (direction Feldmoching) and get off at Theresienstraße (two stops). The main campus of the Technical University of Munich is already in sight and within five minutes walking distance.
By plane
Landed safely, what now?
From the Airport S-Bahn lines S1 and S8 run to the city center alternatively every 10min. At the central station take subway U2 and get off at Theresienstraße. Alternatively take the Airport Bus to the Munich Central station (Hauptbahnhof) and then follow the instructions above.
It is recommended to buy the Airport-City-Day-ticket from the ticket machines. It can be used for as many trips as you like: single ticket (Euro 12,40), group ticket incl. up to 5 passengers ( Euro 23,20), automatically validated from moment of purchase until next day 6am on the entire MVV network.
By car
Parking is possible (though limited) against a fee in the surrounding streets. Given the limited public parking options the use of public transport is highly recommended.
